Treasure Coast

Serving Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie Counties

Introduction & Service Area

The Treasure Coast Chapter has monthly meetings from August through May.  As we encompass four counties, we alternate our meetings between lunches and dinners to allow more participation by our members.  Lunch meetings (September, November, February and April) are held in all four counties.  Dinner meetings (August, October, January, March and May) are held in St. Lucie County on the 3rd Thursday of the month.  There are no meetings held during the months of June and July.  At each meeting, a 50/50 raffle is conducted with the proceeds being used to buy gifts for needy families each Christmas.  For further information, go to “Events & Seminars” for our next meeting.

In addition to our 50/50 raffle, we also collect donations monthly for various charitable causes.  Our past collections have included canned and non-perishable food for the Treasure Coast Food Bank, gently used women’s professional clothing, donations for soldiers overseas, school supplies for low-income Pre-K students, and animal food and supplies for local animal shelters.

Chapter members also speak to students attending the paralegal program at Indian River Community College, providing them with practical information about the legal profession and stressing the importance of education.

For more information regarding the Treasure Coast Chapter, please contact Nancy Dwinell, CP, CFLA at (772) 231-1100.
